It was a great honour to be presented with the “BEST FRANCHISE GLOBAL AWARD” in the Anugerah Perdagangan Dalam Negeri 2020 – APDN2020 by the Ministry of Domestic Trade at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre on 23rd November 2021.

Presented by our Minister of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affair – YB Dato Sri Alexander Nanta Linggi and witnessed by the Prime Minister of Malaysia – YAB Dato’ Sri Ismail Sabri bin Yaacob, the award received also marked the first ever award of its kind to be given by the Misnitry to recognise excellent achievements by the industry players!

Since 1981, Marrybrown has grown to be the largest and most successful Malaysian fast food chain, serving millions of customers at more than 500 locations spread across 16 countries, from Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Thailand, Myanmar, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, China, Africa and Middle East. With this new milestone, it continues to strengthen our resolve to go further and also appreciate all those who have stood by and supported Marrybrown over the years.

Dato Lawrence Liew, Founder of Marrybrown was recently featured in Sin Chew Daily’s 95th Anniversary Special, a significant milestone for Malaysia’s largest Chinese-language newspaper.
