MB International Women’s Day
Events
8 March 2021

With the belief that Women Boleh and that they can do anything they set their minds to, largest homegrown Halal fast-food chain, Marrybrown had planned several special activities in conjunction with the day that celebrates women all over the world.

This International Women’s Day, a special Marrybrown treat was introduced to celebrate all the strong and inspiring women for their hard work, passion and dedication and as a gesture for MB fans to treat all the special ladies in their lives. The one-day promotion consists of Marrybrown’s Chicken Burger and Crispy Chicken, both accompanied with a cup of Nestlé Pink Lemonade for RM 3.80 on 8 March 2021, acknowledging solidarity and support to this day and women around the world.

On the same day, Marrybrown also celebrated the efforts of the kakak riders in Foodpanda who are constantly doing what they need to do to survive especially during this uncertain period of time while constantly ensuring that everyone gets their meals delivered safe and sound. Marrybrown gave away free meals nationwide to all Foodpanda kakak riders as a form of appreciation for their hustle and encouragement for them to keep doing what they envisioned to do and not give up on their goals.

To further their support for women, Marrybrown reached out to a few organisations who are helping the less fortunate and vulnerable women in society. Marrybrown aims to let these women know that even if odds are not in their favour, they are not alone in this world fighting this battle themselves.

Marrybrown Malaysia reaffirms its unwavering commitment to gender equality and empowerment by donating over 1,500 sets of Marrybrown meals to the residents of various organisations, namely Women of Will, Women Aid Organisations, Pertubuhan Kebajikan Darul Wardah Selangor, Ti-Ratana Welfare Society Malaysia, PSPK Women Development Centre and Grace Home Klang – as a statement not to forget those who are in a vulnerable position.
